Our crew had a chance to escape the cold and head to the sunny Southwest US and chase wild quail last week. While the bird numbers for both Gambel’s and Blues were the best they have been in many years, the lack of cover made it challenging!

Even though these running desert birds wore us out, we all had a wonderful time. Lanny Viegut from Carnivore Meat Company, a first time quail hunter and sponsor of the show, introduced some of our friends to world of raw diet for gun dogs.
